Black Moshannon State Park May 23rd -26th, 2003 |
This trip was on Memorial Day weekend, so we had an extra day. We had the same
site as last year, which is really nice, because it's the last site in the
loop. The weather was still pretty cold, but okay. We spent a lot of
time just sitting around the campsite. We had a perfect view of a groundhog
family in the woods behind our site. We went to the bog and on a few
other trails in the park. We saw an active beaver dam, but no beavers...
We rented a boat on the lake, but didn't get very far - it was really windy
that day! We had a good time, as usual. It did rain quite a bit
during the trip. We're getting used to it though! |

This was at Penn's Cave, a cavern tour by boat. They also have a safari tour
by bus through their park. |
