Pymatuning State Park
Jamestown Campground
July 3rd - 6th, 2003

I think we learned from this trip not to go to this park in the middle of summer.  Last year, we went around the same time and it is just incredibly hot and humid.  It's a beautiful campground, but there seems to be no way to escape the heat.

We didn't do very much during this trip.  We went to our normal garage sales and explored the area.  We did to go an animal park, called Pymatuning Deer Park.  It's okay, but the animals don't really have ideal conditions, in my opinion.

We did have one disaster this trip; we got back one afternoon to find that our awning had collapsed from a storm that had passed through.  Everything was a mess, half of the poles were bent or broken and everything was all over the ground.  We needed to have some shade, and since we could not use the awning, we went to Walmart and bought yet another screen room
(we have 3 now).

Other than the heat and the broken awning, it was a good trip.  We'll just have to remember next year, to wait until it's not so hot!!!
