March 19th-21st, 2004
Cleveland, Ohio

This wasn't our usual kind of trip.  We stayed at the Days Inn in Cleveland.  I really don't like hotels, I prefer my pop-up or a cabin somewhere, but we went there just because we had the urge to take a trip.

We didn't arrive until pretty late Friday night, so we just got to the hotel and went to bed.  On Saturday, we went to the Cleveland Zoo and Rainforest.  (That's the reason we chose Cleveland)
It was actually a pretty nice day, considering it was March.  It was in the upper 40's for most of the time we were at the zoo.  It started to rain right when we were leaving.  The Rainforest is really cool, I'd recommend it if you're ever in Cleveland.  It is a huge building that has been transformed into a very humid and misty rainforest!    The zoo is huge!!  It was nice, because there were very few people there.  It is definitely the biggest zoo I've ever been too.  Some of the attractions were closed, but everything else was very nice.

Some of the pictures did not turn out very well, a lot of them were taken in front of windows, and the lighting was not great for picture taking, but I tried!!

We saw this squirrel as we were walking in the zoo.  It stopped us on the path, so I handed it a cracker!!
As we were traveling, we came across this Camping World
store.  Of course, we had to go in. It was the first time we were ever in one.  It's a good thing there is not one closer!!!
